Lawn wannabe- Grass coming soon? The mud will be transformed into a living lawn by summer.

This dirt mud and snow is waiting for an extreme makeover by the builder. The winter came too soon for the lawn to be installed last fall.

Now the kids and pets are anxiously peering out the window in hopes that a carpet of green will soon appear.

Lawn care experts are predicting a later than normal spring, so it may be a while before the young are rolling on the lawn instead of squishing through the mud.

Mothers are keeping the washing machines on standby- the detergents at the ready. But are muddy socks better than grass stains on the knees?

Appreciate hearing from you that you wish to be taken off our lawn care mailing list.

Our mailings are usually productive, but your email was a very polite way to decline.

Almost every year, we get one or two people who will take our postage paid envelope and stuff it with other flyers and mail it back to us. But there is no indication of who it is from. So they may get another letter from us next year as well.

I think I've seen an internet site that advises people to get back at mailers by making them spend money on the return envelope.

Now if they would just ask, we are willing to oblige, as we don't want to spend postage needlessly if we don't have.

(perhaps they work for the post office and they figure Canada post needs more mailing done)
