Dandelion Seeds
This weekend the warm weather has matured all the dandelion flowers to the point of seeding. The air was full of dandelion fluff floating through the air.
We saw some come floating in through the office door. I saw a couple drifting into my truck.
Outside our office, the wind had swirled a huge cluster of the seeds in the pavement.
Here's a photo of a part of that mass. Likely you wouldn't see this if it was on your lawn because it would get caught in the grass blades. On the asphalt, it just kept swirling around with each gust of wind.
Lawns beware!

Emerald Ash Borer Customer update A client who lives on the edge of the escarpment with about 20 ash trees. We started treating with Acecaps in 2013. And did a half dose in 2014. We plan to do half doses each year rather than full doses every other year.l In the spring of 2015 he reports : "All kinds of devastation and deforestation all around me. So far my trees looking good. No obvious signs of distress. But the infestation is heavy now in the area. ..... Thanks http://bit.ly/1Gd6a68

Powdery mildew
Saw some powdery mildew on a customer lawn in Binbrook
Then our office help said someone called about "Dust fungus." They had taken a sample into a nursery and the staff told them this was the name.
It does look like a white dust on the foliage and when you walk through it, a puff of white dust does float through the air.
